Caregiver Job Opening at Olympic Neighbors
Home Description
At Olympic Neighbors, we’re all about helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live good, meaningful, inclusive lives in a real home and a real neighborhood. We believe every person should have control over the pace and rhythm of their own life, and that shows up in how we care, how we support, and how we work together as a team.
We use a person-centered approach, which means we really get to know the people we support and help them build daily routines, skills, relationships, and goals that matter to them. Our staff are involved in hands-on, meaningful work like supporting daily living, encouraging communication, helping with meals and shopping, and making community life more accessible and enjoyable.
What makes us a great place to work is that we’re not just focused on basic care. We’re focused on inclusion, dignity, growth, and community connection. We support outings, celebrations, games, crafts, gardening, cooking activities, exercise, and local excursions, so the work stays active, personal, and rewarding. If you like building real relationships and helping people thrive, this is the kind of place where your work truly matters.
Our home also offers a comfortable setting with things like internet access, outdoor patio or deck space, and a welcoming environment that helps everyone feel at home. We’re part of a mission-driven nonprofit, and our team is centered around compassion, respect, and creating a place where both residents and staff can feel connected and supported.
If you want to work somewhere that feels human, community-based, and full of purpose, we’d love to be that kind of workplace.
