Caregiver Job Opening at Malama Ohana Adult Family Home
Home Description
At Malama Ohana Adult Family Home, our name means taking care of family, and that’s exactly the kind of atmosphere we work hard to create every day. We’re a warm, home-style adult family home in Olympia where care is personal, respectful, and centered around making people feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home.
We support adults who need help with daily living, including personal care, medication support, meals, and day-to-day encouragement. We also specialize in dementia care and mental health support, so our team gets the chance to do meaningful work that really matters and build strong, caring relationships with the people we serve.
What makes our home a great place to work is the environment. We’re focused on a calm, supportive, family-style setting where caregivers can give thoughtful, individualized care instead of feeling lost in a big facility. Our home offers private rooms, homemade meals with some locally grown and organic produce, internet and cable access, an emergency call system, and a location that’s close to transit, restaurants, shopping, hospitals, and urgent care. We also enjoy activities like bingo, puzzles, movie nights, cooking, gardening, exercise, music, and neighborhood walks, which helps make each day feel more engaging and personal.
We believe caregiving should feel human. If you want to work in a place where compassion, dignity, comfort, and community really matter, we’d love to have you be part of what we’re building here at Malama Ohana.
