4

Advance Your Career With Free Training

Eligible caregivers may receive no‑cost professional training sponsored by The Long-Term Care Foundation.
These programs help you grow your skills, earn respected certifications, and advance your healthcare career.

Training opportunities include:

  • Home Care Aide (HCA) – 75-hour certification program
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/NAC) – 108‑125 hour certification
  • HCA → CNA Bridge Program
  • Specialty trainings such as Dementia Care, Mental Health, and Nurse Delegations

These certifications can lead to higher pay, increased responsibility, and long‑term career advancement in healthcare.

Note: Free training is available to caregivers working in Adult Family Homes that serve at least one Medicaid resident, as required by state program rules.
