Caregiver Job Opening at STAR LAKE ADULT FAMILY HOME
Home Description
At Star Lake Adult Family Home, we’re a warm, family-run home in Kent where caregiving is personal. We take pride in creating a calm, welcoming place where residents feel comfortable and cared for, and where staff can really focus on meaningful one-on-one care instead of feeling rushed.
What makes us a great place to work is the kind of environment we’ve built. We’re known for being clean, organized, and home-like, with a beautiful lakefront setting, private rooms with private bathrooms, and a peaceful atmosphere that helps both residents and caregivers feel at ease. We want our team to enjoy coming to work in a place that feels positive, respectful, and supportive.
We provide hands-on care for a variety of needs, including dementia, mental health, diabetes, stroke, and Parkinson’s care. Our team also works alongside strong clinical support, including medication management, RN on-call support, doctor visits, therapy services, and other mobile healthcare providers as needed. That means caregivers here are part of a home that takes resident care seriously and works hard to make sure staff have the support they need.
Food is a big part of life here too. We serve homemade cooked meals and fresh food daily, and we do our best to follow individual diet needs. We also keep daily life engaging with activities based on resident interests and abilities, including music, audiobooks, games, puzzles, pet therapy, and walking space inside the home.
We’re looking for caregivers who are kind, dependable, and genuinely care about people. If you want to work in a place where compassion matters, families are appreciative, and the atmosphere feels more like home than an institution, we’d love to have you join us.
